Christopher Cooke is a partner in the San Mateo office with over twenty years' experience, including seven years as an attorney and branch chief with the Enforcement Division of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in San Francisco. While at the SEC, Mr. Cooke conducted investigations of and filed civil and administrative actions against companies and individuals violating the federal securities laws. As an enforcement attorney and then branch chief, Mr. Cooke brought civil enforcement actions against public companies and their executive officers for fraudulently reporting their financial results to the investing public, against brokerage firms and investment advisers for defrauding their clients, and against investment bankers and others for fraudulently raising money from investors.

Jeff KobrickJeff Kobrick, Partner, San Mateo Office
Jeff Kobrick is a partner in the San Mateo office. His practice focuses on complex civil litigation in state and federal courts, securities litigation and SEC enforcement matters, business litigation including intellectual property, ERISA, employment, and appeals. Before forming CKW, he was Senior Trial Counsel for almost 5 years with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in the SEC's Boston and San Francisco District Offices. He was lead trial counsel for the SEC in enforcement actions in United States District Courts involving a wide range of securities law issues, including insider trading, securities fraud, accounting fraud by public companies, and broker dealer violations.

Steve WuSteve Wu, Partner, Los Altos and Cupertino Offices
Steve Wu is a partner in the Los Altos and Cupertino offices. His practice includes commercial and intellectual property litigation with an emphasis on trade secret theft and disputes involving technology companies. He advises clients on electronic discovery and digital evidence matters. He also drafts and negotiates technology deals for Silicon Valley technology companies, including software licenses, software development agreements, semiconductor development and sales agreements, and Internet service agreements. His transactional work includes agreements for companies involved in virtual worlds and video games. Finally, Mr. Wu acts as outside general counsel to Silicon Valley businesses. He has organized many corporations and limited liability companies for Silicon Valley entrepreneurs.
